ABOUT US

Victra is Verizon’s largest premium retailer in the United States. We thrive on collaboration, innovation, and performance. Our mission is to “Connect technology to life in a trustworthy, fun, and profitable way”. We work closely with Verizon and our brand partners to deliver exceptional product offerings, promotions, and campaigns that drive in-store traffic and revenue.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Supplier and Contract Manager turns spend and supplier data into savings and better sourcing decisions. You will run spend analysis, support competitive bids, track supplier performance, and give leaders clear, data-backed recommendations. This role partners closely with Finance, Retail Operations, Facilities, IT, and Marketing to make sure we buy the right goods and services at the right price.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is aligned to Victra’s leadership competencies through the following responsibilities.

RESULTS DRIVEN — SPEND ANALYSIS AND SOURCING

  • Analyze company-wide spend by category, supplier, and cost center to find savings, consolidation, and compliance opportunities.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports on spend, savings, purchase order (PO) cycle time, and supplier KPIs, delivering accurate, timely insights.
  • Support RFI, RFQ, and RFP events: gather requirements, prepare bid packages, build cost comparisons, and score responses.
  • Track supplier performance across quality, delivery, pricing accuracy, and service levels, and run quarterly scorecards.
  • Monitor pricing against contract terms and flag invoice discrepancies to Accounts Payable.

CUSTOMER FOCUS — BUSINESS NEEDS

  • Tailor sourcing analysis, reports, and supplier onboarding support to each internal partner’s needs, providing clear and timely information.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING — BUSINESS AND SUPPLIER PARTNERSHIP

  • Partner with Finance, Retail Operations, Facilities, IT, and Marketing to translate business needs into sourcing recommendations.
  • Onboard new suppliers: collect W-9s, insurance certificates, banking details, and risk or compliance documentation.
  • Present clear, data-backed recommendations to managers and senior leaders to support informed purchasing decisions.

CHANGE MANAGEMENT — ANALYTICS AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

  • Engage with the business using predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI to own and drive improvements in supplier services and pricing.
  • Maintain clean, accurate supplier master data in the ERP and procurement systems to support reliable analysis and efficient processes.

STRATEGIC THINKING — INFORMED SOURCING DECISIONS

  • Prepare cost-benefit, total cost of ownership, and should-cost analyses for sourcing decisions.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting with category-level spend projections.
  • Research market trends, pricing benchmarks, and alternative suppliers for key categories.
  • Link daily procurement priorities and recommendations to Victra’s cost, service, and compliance goals.

TALENT MANAGEMENT — PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

  • Own professional development by seeking feedback and coaching, reflecting on strengths and opportunities, and applying learning to improve analytical and procurement performance.

INSPIRATIONAL LEADERSHIP — OWNERSHIP AND INFLUENCE

  • Help enforce procurement policy and purchasing controls across the business, modeling integrity and accountability.
  • Build confidence in procurement recommendations through analytical rigor, clear communication, and dependable follow-through.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Required

  • Working knowledge of an ERP or procure-to-pay system (for example Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Coupa, or Workday)
