Store Manager
About Us
Victra is the largest Verizon Authorized Retailer in the United States. As a Store Manager, you shape our guest experience. By coaching your team, you help them give their best to Every Guest, Every Time. Our Store Managers exceed both store and personal sales targets. With our paid training, we give you the tools to embrace and take ownership of your store. You will develop your sales consultants and help them learn what it means to win at Victra.
Position Summary
Are you a person who thrives in a competitive atmosphere, while having fun with your team? If so, then you will fit right in. If you love helping others grow to their full potential and consistently deliver results, then Victra is the place for you.
We believe in #Performance #Collaboration #Integrity #Innovation #Integrity #Celebration
You will have an elevated level of accountability for all retail store functions and for communicating and implementing the company vision by directing the day-to-day activities of the entire store staff. You will be driving for high-performance results within a fast-paced sales environment, focusing on optimizing customer and employee experience. You will also complete training courses and attend weekly sales leadership calls. You will drive our business forward by always motivating your team to do their best in every guest interaction. This is an hourly role.
On a typical day, you will take care of your guests and confirm that your coworkers have what they need. You will lead by example on the sales floor. Your interactions with customers will show your coworkers how it is done. You will coach them one on one and motivate them to reach the next level of performance. You take personal ownership of the store's sales strategy and results — they are a direct reflection of your leadership. You will also be responsible for daily operational tasks and maintaining brand compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Management — Selecting, hiring, and developing the best talent
● Participate in interviewing and hiring the best talent for your store — the team you build is the team that delivers your results
● Training and mentoring your team to deliver an outstanding customer experience by handling customer flow and store traffic
● Identifying any selling skill gaps, then building and implementing development plans to help the team meet and exceed sales metrics and quota assignments
Results Driven — Holding yourself and your team accountable
● Take personal ownership of the store's overall sales performance — hold yourself accountable to the same standard you set for your team
● Taking direction from District Manager on day-to-day operations while maintaining an elevated level of personal accountability for all store functions
● Keep score daily — review your store's and your own key sales metrics every day, not just weekly, and use that daily scorecard to course-correct before small gaps become missed monthly targets
● Running store operations – analyzing staffing needs, reporting financial and sales data, managing cash, meeting compliance, opening trouble tickets with Facilities/Network/IT as needed to ensure store up-time and functionality
● Completing store opening and closing activities
● Collective responsibility on attaining store targets daily/weekly/monthly
Customer Focus — Delivering Every Guest, Every Time
● Model the standard Victra Greet on the sales floor — introduce yourself, get the guest's name, and ask what brings them in — and hold your team accountable to delivering it every guest, every time
● Driving personal sales by following our EGET sales process
● Leading your team by resolving customer issues and assisting with customer transactions
● Resolving customer escalations in a timely manner, as per company standards
● Monitoring inventory by restocking shelves with products, maintaining device security, and managing the cleanliness of the store
Relationship Building — Building trust across your store team
● Build reciprocal, trust-based relationships with your team and peer Store Managers — use honest communication to earn commitment to store initiatives
Change Management — Championing improvement in your store
● Champion new merchandising standards and planogram changes as they roll out, leading your team through the change rather than just enforcing it
Strategic Thinking — Setting the store's direction
● Setting and sharing daily/weekly/monthly goals with sales teams
● Own the store's daily sales strategy: set the plan for each shift based on traffic, promotions, and staffing, and adjust it through the day as results come in, communicating and implementing the company vision
Inspirational Leadership — Leading by example
● Lead by example on the sales floor, showing your team how it's done and motivating them to reach the next level of performance
