JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an Information Security Analyst I, you will be responsible for monitoring systems for security breaches, analyzing network traffic for threats, and helping implement security policies and procedures. You will bring a results-driven mindset and high level of personal accountability to protecting Victra’s systems and data, using sound judgment to connect day-to-day security priorities to broader business goals. You will build trusted relationships with technical and non-technical partners, communicate with honesty and clarity, and embrace evolving security tools, processes, and practices to help make change successful across the organization. KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
- Threat Monitoring and Detection: Take ownership of continuously monitoring network activity, system logs, and security alerts, maintaining personal accountability for identifying, escalating, and responding to suspicious behavior and potential breaches.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Identify and prioritize vulnerabilities within Victra’s IT assets, applying sound judgment and a results-driven approach to focus efforts on risks with the greatest potential business impact. Minimum one year of related experience required.
- Knowledge of Qualys or Similar Platform: Use vulnerability and patch management tools such as Qualys to configure scans, review dashboards, generate reports, and translate findings into actionable priorities that support security and business goals.
- Incident Response: Prioritize effectively under pressure and participate in security investigations with a strong sense of ownership, collaborating across teams, following established procedures, and contributing to timely and accurate incident reports.
- Security Policy Implementation: Assist in implementing and reinforcing security policies and procedures, embracing new practices and helping embed change into daily work while maintaining compliance and security best practices.
- Cybersecurity Fundamentals: Apply a strong understanding of network security concepts, system hardening principles, and security controls to make informed decisions and support secure business operations.
- SIEM Platform Knowledge: Leverage SIEM functionality for automated threat detection, alert management, and reporting, continuously building expertise and identifying opportunities to improve monitoring effectiveness.
- Continuous Monitoring and Maintenance: Own SIEM monitoring activities and continuously improve alert quality, using sound judgment and technical knowledge to reduce false positives and deliver measurable security results.
- Security Awareness Training: Build effective relationships across the organization and tailor security education to employee needs. Support the development and delivery of training on security best practices and potential threats, including Phishing, Vishing, and Smishing campaigns.
- Privileged Identity Management (PIM): Manage privileged accounts and just-in-time access controls with integrity, attention to risk, and accountability for protecting sensitive access. At least one year of related experience required.
- System and Application Security: Partner with others to secure systems and applications, including installing security software, while adapting to new technologies and security requirements as business needs evolve.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
- Degree: Bachelor’s in information security, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).

- Certifications: Preferred credentials include CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC.
