Store Design & Construction Coordinator
Job Description
This Store Design and Construction Coordinator contributes to Victra’s success by providing CAD design, planning, construction schedule coordination and project management for new store/renovation/relocation/closing construction projects. The role will assist in the coordination and design elements for all store development projects to ensure all projects are completed on time and within the established budgets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following, other duties may be assigned.
- Design and develop retail store plans (fixture layouts, electrical, etc) and construction documents utilizing CAD expertise. Manage and maintain current prototype documents. Ensure compliance with brand standards and lease exhibit reviews to achieve the desired results of the Victra store experience.
- Works closely with the Store Construction Project Managers and Director of Store Construction and Facilities in the coordination and project management of all store development team activities including new store openings, renovations, relocations, and closing of stores.
- Provides the conceptual design plans for store fixtures and all construction work for approval in a timely and efficient manner.
- Acts as primary liaison between Victra and Verizon’s design review team on the review and approval of store layouts.
- Exercises expertise and independent action for all phases of design framework.
- Maintains established construction schedules to allow stores to open on time in a professional manner.
- Works closely with the Store Construction PMs to prepare site surveys to ensure proper work is being undertaken for completion of design work for store development plans.
- Manages, monitors, and communicates all design work with the Store Construction Team to ensure projects are completed on time and to established expectations.
- Addresses design and project coordination concerns and maintains consistent follow-up on any outstanding issues.
- Act as the primary liaison between Victra and contracted Engineers and Architects, ensuring the accuracy of construction drawings for all projects.
- Assist with department record keeping and support the project close-out process to ensure all documentation is accurately maintained and completed.
- Works with internal and external partners on various initiatives, such as new fixture rollouts.
- Communicates design or fixture changes to all relevant internal and external partners.
- Assist with special projects that are related to store development, design, and customer experience.
- Work closely with the Store Construction Manager to align project goals and ensure successful execution of store construction projects.
- Displays considerable initiative, latitude and independent judgment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from four-year College or University.
- Proven proficiency in the use of CAD software programs as used in retail store fixture design and layout.
- Proficiency in all standard Microsoft Office programs and internet usage required.
- Previous experience with business services, technical services, telecom or similar technology background preferred.

- 2 or more years of experience in a role performing design functions for construction projects or similar.

- Ability to coordinate multiple, complex projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships across all levels.
- Proficient knowledge of architectural drawing details, construction methods, MEP drawings, knowledge of ADA design requirements and structural engineering drawings.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft - Word, Excel, Power Point. Revit and/or 3D Rendering Skills a Plus.
- High level of retail store planning skills, sketching.
- Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, retail environment.
