Demand Planner

Are you interested in forecasting and incorporating business intelligence to identify trends in the market? As a Demand Planner, you will work to continuously improve our supply chain function and make recommendations that impact all levels of business. In this role, you will analyze demand changes in the business to ensure accuracy in inventory levels, particularly from the point of view of long/medium term.

As the Demand Planner You will incorporate business intelligence and forecasted information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailer data, and other sources to make strong inventory and purchasing decisions. You will display a high proficiency in statistics and forecasting methods with an understanding of how they will affect our stores both financially and operationally. In this role, you will also:

• Handle daily accessory and device ordering for sub-agents, business sales teams, and any other sales channels outside of our corporate owned retail stores.
• Assist with daily creation and communication of product availability to sub-agents.
• Serve as inventory purchasing point of contact for sub-agent and business teams.
• Control inventory targets approved by management to generate highest level of in-stocks while reducing aging inventory levels
• Assemble and analyze all data pertinent for accurate purchasing including historical sales, market trends, seasonality, advertising, and promotions
• Make recommendation of inventory targets adjustments based on changes in demand and market trends
• Develop systems and procedures required to meet service level and inventory objectives
• Own and manage the accessory dropship escalations to resolve customer issues.
• Manage tickets and requests coming through the Support Central ticketing system.
• Collaborate on brand transitions, new product introduction, events, phase in and phase out items.
• Evolve and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems

YOUR BACKGROUND (REQUIREMENTS):

Accuracy, attention to detail, and an analytical mind all seem to describe you. You are hard-working and versed in demand management/forecasting, forecasting processes in sales, operations, manufacturing and supply chain issues. We are looking for the Demand Planner to also bring the following:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a role doing inventory scheduling, purchasing, forecasting and planning, etc.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with RQ4 is preferred
• Good communication and team building skills
• Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical skills
• Knowledge of key inventory performance metrics
• Collaborative skills in resolving long and short positions in inventory

• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
