 Job Description

Victra is hiring a Corporate Travel Manager responsible for overseeing all aspects of employee travel across the company’s nationwide retail network. This includes planning and budgeting, policy development and oversight, vendor negotiation, booking oversight, travel data analysis. The role ensures travel is safe, cost-effective, and aligned with business priorities. This position will also directly manage a team of travel agents responsible for coordinating and booking travel.

Reports To: Director of Finance

 

Key Responsibilities:


 Team Leadership & Operations

  • Manage a team of corporate travel agents responsible for day-to-day travel bookings and support.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex or high-priority travel issues not resolved by the travel agent team.

Travel Oversight

  • Continuously evaluate travel procedures to incorporate best practices in corporate travel management, including duty of care, cost containment, and traveler experience.
  • Analyze travel patterns and spend data to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvement.
  • Manage booking tools and systems; oversee bookings for air, hotel, car rental, and other transit needs.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Negotiate rates with hotels and establish service-level agreements (SLAs) and performance tracking for travel vendors.

Policy Development & Compliance

  • Update and maintain Victra’s corporate travel policies to ensure alignment with current business needs, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor adherence to travel policies and provide guidance and training to field leaders and administrative staff.

Budgeting & Reporting

  • Budget and forecast the travel costs in collaboration with Finance and HR.
  • Track KPIs such as cost per trip, booking lead time, travel frequency by hierarchy level, and traveler satisfaction.

 

What We Are Looking For:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in corporate travel management, preferably within a retail or distributed operations environment.
  • Experience managing travel for multi-tiered field organizations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of travel industry practices, tools (e.g., SAP Concur, Navan, etc), and vendor negotiation.
  • Analytical mindset and experience working with travel or expense data.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Prior experience supporting travel for large-scale field teams or training programs.
  • Flexible to support travel needs across different U.S. time zones.
