Job Description

Victra is Verizon's trusted business partner and largest retailer in the United States. We are seeking a Business Licensing Analyst who is responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all applicable business licensing requirements in various jurisdictions. The analyst will renew business licenses, maintain licensing software, communicate with jurisdictions, and perform accounting tasks related to licensing.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Renew business licenses for the company in a timely and accurate manner

·      Maintain and update the licensing software with relevant information and documents

·      Communicate with jurisdictions to obtain and verify licensing information and resolve any issues

·      Prepare and submit licensing reports and payments to jurisdictions and internal stakeholders

·      Perform accounting tasks related to licensing, such as reconciling accounts, recording transactions, and generating invoices

·      Researching jurisdictional laws and ordinances related to business licensing

·      Communicating violations and inspection requirements to appropriate internal departments


Competencies and Qualifications:

·      Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, accounting, or related field

·      At least two years of experience in business licensing, compliance, or accounting

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office and licensing software

·      Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

·      Attention to detail and accuracy

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·      Knowledge of business licensing regulations and procedures in various jurisdictions
