YOUR FOCUS (JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES): 

As the HVAC Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for managing all the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems in our 1600 retail stores across 48 states. You will be responsible for executing project planning, capital projects, preventative maintenance, regular maintenance, repairs and safety relating to the continued operation of HVAC systems at Victra retail store locations.   

 

You will also: 

  • Manage the maintenance, repair and replacement of all the HVAC systems in Victra owned and operated retail stores 
  • Source, develop and manage external HVAC vendors for all Victra stores 
  • Create and manage the annual Preventative Maintenance program for HVAC systems for all Victra stores 
  • Manage capital and expense budgets relating to HVAC work and improvements at Victra Stores 
  • Ensure repairs, maintenance, and contracted services are coordinated and conducted in a timely and effective manner through use and monitoring of facilities software portal- ServiceNow 
  • Fulfill materials and parts orders through various 3rd Party vendors 
  • Prioritize facilities activities based on urgency and availability of resources 
  • Provide expertise and consultation on replacement, repairs and preventative maintenance issues 
  • Support emergency/disaster response for stores as needed. 
  • Ensure acceptable performance of Service Level Agreements by external contractors and vendors 
  • Interact and effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals with varying levels of expertise  
  • Monitor, evaluate, and make recommendations to ensure facilities program effectiveness 
  • Identify and propose facilities related cost saving measures 
  • Assist with facilities or cross-functional projects and issues resolution as assigned 

 

YOUR BACKGROUND (REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS): 

Are you knowledgeable of managing HVAC systems for a fleet of locations? Are you resourceful, self-motivated, flexible, and able to quickly and seamlessly adapt to shifting priorities? Are you capable of making independent decisions and performing complex tasks following established processes? We are looking for the Area Facilities Manager to also bring the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (recommended) 
  • 3 to 5 years of experience within multi-unit facilities support roles, preferably with 1-3 years focused on HVAC management 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.   
  • Ability to influence, hold accountable, and provide objective feedback to others on cross-functional projects and initiatives. 
  • Strong oral/written communication and presentation skills.  Can express complex ideas in simple terms. 
  • Resourcefulness, flexibility and resiliency                
  • Ability to facilitate technical training to non-technical professionals 
  • Proven experience managing multiple assignments and projects with varying deadlines 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds 
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time 

(unless accommodations are required/requested for an employee under the ADA) 

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Up to 10%
